The NYS Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP) released a report summarizing feedback it received from stakeholders regarding the Electronic Visit Verification system (available here). As most providers know, the federal Cures Act, which would mandate the use of EVV for all personal care services, is slated to take effect January 1, 2020; however, the State has indicated that it will ask the federal government to postpone this implementation date. It remains to be seen whether the request for postponement will be granted.
